Keeping things hot in Nelson
Robert is a certified Bikram Teacher. He's been practicing yoga for 13 years andteaching since 2000. Robert also teaches a beautiful and powerful style of Qi Gong called the 18 Hands of Luohan.
Andrea is an avid runner, likes rock climbing, mountain climbing, and hiking. And, of course, loves yoga as it calms her busy days.
Together, they hope to continue the legacy of helping people discover the Joy, Beauty, and Grace Within - the Power of Yoga.

Classes
| Hot Yoga Our core class. The room is heat infused to prevent injury, promote detoxification and enhance a deeper release within the body. Fresh air is circulated and humidity is raised to make conditions ideal for a foundational sequence of 25-30 postures that vary slightly each class to strengthen bones and muscles and keep the mind-body connection sharp—a total body workout! Suitable for the beginner, intermediate or advanced practitioner. 60 to 90 minutes as scheduled.
| Power Vinyasa (PV) A vibrant and inspiring practice that leaves you glowing with that “yoga buzz.” Power Vinyasa is a “flow style” class that combines instruction on form, alignment, flow and strength and power and balance. A continuous rhythm of breath awakens and reconnects you to a stronger and stress-free self. The room is moderately heated. All levels welcome. 60 to 75 minutes.
| Yin Yoga Yin Yoga concentrates on floor postures that stretch connective tissue, the ligaments and fascia that bind bone-to-bone at the joints. Connective tissue does not stretch like muscle and takes more time to improve mobility and strength. For this reason the room is moderately warmed and postures are held for longer periods of time. Uplifting music and soft lighting are often incorporated to further calm the mind and release the spiritual potential this practice offers. Perfect for beginners. Also great for top-notch athletes wanting to protect and strengthen their joints. 60 to 90 minutes as scheduled.
| Intro to Hot Yoga - Tuesday eves at 7:30 pm and Wednesday 9:30 am. Curious or little intimidated about hot yoga? Intro classes return this summer on Tuesday evenings,- 7:30 pm! These classes are open to anyone wanting to check out the hot yoga scene and /or experience hot yoga at a slightly cooler and slower pace. Every class starts with basic breathing techniques, followed by standing postures, finally some delicious yin-styled floor stretching poses. You do what you can. You'll learn something new each class developing a strong foundation for any full-on class you choose. All levels welcome. Room is heated. 75 minutes. First time students must arrive 20 early to register and discuss any special needs with the instructor.

Special flows focusing on the needs of a postpartum body. Rejuvenating postures and core work that can be doe with or without babes. Bring your yoga mat, water, blanket and toys. Cost: 6-week Course - $70 / Casual - $15
| Try Something Different! 18 Hands of Louhan QiGong
Louhan Qigong, (pronounced chi kung), combines elements of kung fu and martial arts. This exercise form uses movement and breath control to manipulate the flow of Chi along the body's meridians. It is both a physical and mental exercise and is taught today around the world for health, well being and enhanced life force.
