Sally's training in Oriental medicine brings a blend of acupressure, 'push-and-pull' hand techniques, range of motion and gentle traction to her massage treatments.
Her massage techniques are based on Tui-na: a form of Chinese medical massage.
Tui-na is especially effective for back, neck, shoulder and joint pain, yet has the flexibility to treat chronic conditions such as insomnia, constipation, headaches (including migraines) and tension associated with stress. Like other styles of Asian bodywork, Tui-na massage maintains physical health and mental-emotional wellbeing.
At the start of each treatment, Sally makes a pulse and tongue diagnosis. She then uses brushing, kneading, pressing and rolling techniques to restore the flow of energy in muscles and deeper tissues, bringing the body back into balance.
